Challenge:
The customer had a requirement to decrease the time it took
to clean their “Print Head” so they could achieve more
through put. The current process involved the removal of the
print head and shipping it to a firm that cleaned it for
them. Not only did this take several weeks to complete,but
it was harder to clean as the ink dried in the head.
Solution:
Castle Harvester Metal Fabricators partnered with a firm
that distributed “ standard parts washers” and designed an
Aqueous washer that the customer could run in their
facility. This machine not only did a better job of cleaning
in a shorter amount of time, but it also recycles the
filtered water to minimize their waste stream.
Results :
This equipment allowed the customer to reduce their down
time considerably, which resulted in the ability to realize
increased through put.
