Challenge:
This customer came to us with a new application for
“harvesting” forages to be processed at their newly
constructed drying facility. They needed a way to mow and
load long strand forages into tractor trailers.
Solution:
Castle Harvester Metal Fabricators researched harvesting
methods and machines that were currently in use and
consulted with the customer's design team, and we came up
with a modification to a piece of equipment they already
owned.
Results:
This equipment has allowed
the customer to realize their goal of “harvesting” forage
directly into their trucks, eliminating the need for
secondary equipment and trips through the fields. This saves
time and allows them to stop cutting without leaving product
on the ground exposing it to inclement weather conditions.
Also by utilizing their existing equipment we eliminated the
need to create a complete machine. |
